This project was born during the Spring 2020, while we were facing “lock down” in Italy, a moment, where there the general atmosphere was filled with sadness and insecurity towards future.
During Spring we all should try to resist, and I found it pretty hard, due to the fact that my career had been swiped away in a few days; so I decided to learn a new language, and meanwhile I could always look outside of the window: because it was springtime and Nature had started to wake up, no matter what.
Looking at the pale blue sky in May, I started to remember all the shades of blue that could be found in the works of art of Florence….
With this virtual tour I want to celebrate the Blue color, in all its forms and shades, and it’s presence and significance inside the works of art.
