Pitti Palace

A Palace whose name does not reflect the people who lived in there.

A palace for three dynasties.

An emblem of Florence.

Pitti Palace lies next to the hill of Boboli in the quarter of Oltrarno (beyond the Arno river) and it holds a collection of unique paintings (works of art by Raphael, Caravaggio Rubens, Titian).

The garden of Boboli , directly connected to the courtyard of the palace, is a wonderful Italian garden, where nature merges with art, fountains are hidden into grottos, statues can surprise you behind each corner and there are a lot of mythological creatures waiting to be discovered.
